Integrations overview
Understand how BugMojo pushes bugs into your other tools and keeps their status in sync both ways.
BugMojo captures a bug in high fidelity, but the work of fixing it usually lives somewhere else: a code repo, an issue tracker, a chat channel. Integrations connect BugMojo to those tools so a captured bug flows into your existing workflow instead of sitting in a second place your team has to remember to check.
What integrations do
The first job is pushing bugs out. When you link a bug to a provider, BugMojo creates the matching object in that tool (a GitHub issue, a Jira ticket, or a Slack message) and carries the important context with it: the summary, repro steps, and a link back to the full bug detail page with its replay and logs. Your developers never have to leave their tracker to know what went wrong.
The second job is two-way status sync. For providers that support it, a status change on either side is mirrored on the other. Move a bug from OPEN to IN_PROGRESS in BugMojo and the linked issue advances; close the ticket in Jira or merge the fix in GitHub and the BugMojo bug reflects it. Both systems stay in agreement without anyone updating two places by hand.
The adapter model
Every integration is a self-contained adapter, one per provider. An adapter knows how to authenticate with its service, how to create and update issues there, and how to translate a BugMojo status into that tool's equivalent and back. Because each adapter is independent, you enable only the ones you need, and connecting one has no effect on the others. This is also how new providers get added over time without changing how the existing ones behave.
Where to connect them
Integrations are set up by an OWNER or ADMIN in your workspace settings, then enabled for the projects that should use them. Each provider has its own short guide covering how to authorize the connection and map it to a board: Connect GitHub, Connect Jira, and Connect Slack. GitLab, Linear, and Azure DevOps follow the same pattern: paste a token for the provider, or use Continue with the provider where your workspace offers it.
Common questions
Which integrations does BugMojo support?
BugMojo connects to GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Linear, Slack, and Azure DevOps, plus signed outgoing webhooks for anything else. Each one is a separate adapter, so you wire up only the tools your team actually uses. Integrations are included on every plan, Free too.
Does status sync work in both directions?
Yes, for the providers that support it. When a bug moves in BugMojo the linked issue updates, and when the external issue changes status the bug reflects it, so your board and your issue tracker stay in agreement.
Where do I turn an integration on?
Integrations are connected in your workspace settings by an OWNER or ADMIN, then enabled per project. Follow the provider-specific guide, such as Connect GitHub, to authorize and map it.
