What is BugMojo?
Understand how BugMojo captures high-fidelity bug reports and hands them to your team or an AI agent to fix.
BugMojo is an AI-native bug tracking platform. It has two halves that work together: a browser extension that captures rich bug reports the moment something breaks, and a web dashboard where your team (or an AI coding agent) picks up those bugs and fixes them.
Capture bugs with the browser extension
Install the extension on Chrome, Edge, or other Chromium browsers (Firefox support is coming). When you hit a bug, it packages everything a developer needs to reproduce it: an rrweb session replay (a reconstructed DOM recording you can scrub), console logs, network requests (method, URL, status, timing, and masked headers, never bodies), and screenshots you can annotate. On Chrome and Edge you can also add an optional screen video and a voice note, both synced to the replay. It also records device, OS, browser, and viewport details automatically.
Organize work in the dashboard
The dashboard uses a simple hierarchy. A Company holds your Projects; each project has Boards; and each board holds Bugs (issues). Every bug has a status (such as OPEN, IN_PROGRESS, or QA_TESTING), a priority from CRITICAL to NONE, and labels, so you can filter, triage, and track work from report to resolution.
Assign to teammates or AI agents
BugMojo uses a polymorphic assignee: a bug can go to a teammate (a MEMBER) or to an AI coding agent (an AGENT) using the exact same UI. That means an agent is a first-class assignee, not a bolt-on. You triage the same way regardless of who does the work.
Let AI agents act with MCP
The BugMojo MCP server connects AI coding agents (like Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, and Windsurf) over the Model Context Protocol. Through MCP, an agent can read a bug's replay context, console and network logs, and repro steps, then act on them directly in your codebase. This is what makes BugMojo AI-native: the same bug context a human reads is available to an agent as structured data.
Common questions
Is BugMojo a screen recorder?
Not primarily. BugMojo records the DOM with rrweb and reconstructs the page as an interactive replay, so replays stay small and you can inspect real elements. The Chrome extension can also attach an opt-in, real-pixel tab video to a capture when you need one; the widget and SDKs stay DOM-only.
Do I need a project set up before I can report a bug?
No. Quick Capture lets you file a bug with zero setup: no company, project, or board required. You can move it into a project later.
Can an AI agent fix bugs in BugMojo?
Yes. Assign a bug to an AGENT the same way you assign a teammate, then connect a coding agent over MCP so it can read the replay, logs, and repro steps and act on them.
