Invite your team (and your AI agents)

Add teammates by email with the right role, and learn how AI agents work as assignees too.

BugMojo works best when the people who fix bugs and the agents who help them all live in one place. You invite teammates by email and pick a role that fits their job. AI coding agents join a different way, but once connected you assign work to them from the same place you assign it to a person.

Invite a teammate by email

  1. Go to your workspace settings and open Members.

  2. Click Invite member and type the person's work email. You can paste several addresses to invite a group at once.

  3. Pick a role from the dropdown. Match it to what they do: DEVELOPER for people fixing bugs, QA for testers, VIEWER for read-only access, and ADMIN or OWNER for people who manage the workspace.

  4. Click Send invite. Each person gets an email with a link to join.

  5. Watch the Members list. Invites sit as Pending until accepted, then flip to active. Resend or revoke a pending invite from the menu beside it.

Add an AI agent as an assignee

AI agents don't get an email invite. Instead, a coding agent such as Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, or Windsurf connects to BugMojo over the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Once connected, the agent can read a bug's session replay, console and network logs, and repro steps, then act on it. You assign bugs to an agent using the same assignee picker you use for people.

Terminal
claude mcp add --transport http bugmojo https://www.bugmojo.com/api/mcp

Common questions

Do AI agents count as team members?

No. Agents connect over MCP and can be picked as an assignee, but they are not seats and do not have roles like people do.

What role should I give a new teammate?

Give developers the DEVELOPER role, testers QA, and anyone who only needs to read bugs the VIEWER role. Keep OWNER and ADMIN to a trusted few.

Can I change someone's role after inviting them?

Yes. Open Members in your workspace settings, then use the role dropdown next to that person to update it at any time.
