This is the fastest way to see what BugMojo does. In about two minutes you will install the browser extension, reproduce a real bug, and file a report that already includes a session replay, console logs, network requests, and a screenshot. No project setup required.

Walk through the capture

File your first bug report

  1. Install the extension. Add BugMojo to Chrome, Edge, or another Chromium browser from the Chrome Web Store, then pin the icon to your toolbar so it is easy to reach.

  2. Reproduce the bug. Open the page where the problem happens and make it happen again. BugMojo records the last part of your session, so you do not need to press record first.

  3. Open the extension. Click the BugMojo icon in your toolbar, then choose Capture.

  4. Let BugMojo attach the evidence. It automatically grabs the DOM session replay, console logs, network requests, a screenshot you can annotate, and your device, OS, browser, and viewport details.

  5. Describe the bug. Add a short title and what you expected to happen. Then pick a project, or select Quick Capture to skip setup entirely.

  6. Submit. Click Submit. BugMojo redacts sensitive text and inputs in your browser first, then uploads the report and opens it in the dashboard.

Review what BugMojo attached

Open the new bug in the dashboard to see everything in one place. Press play to watch the session replay, scrub the console and network timelines to find the error, and check the screenshot and environment details. This is exactly what a teammate, or an AI agent, needs to reproduce and fix the issue.

Common questions

Do I need to set up a project before I capture?

No. Use Quick Capture to file a bug with zero setup, then move it into a project later. See the Quick Capture guide for details.

Does BugMojo record a video of my screen?

No. BugMojo captures an rrweb DOM session replay, a reconstructed recording of the page, not a screen video. It is lighter and far more precise for debugging.

Will my sensitive data get sent to BugMojo?

Text and input values are masked in the browser before anything is sent. PII redaction runs client-side in the extension, so private data never leaves your machine unredacted.
