Watch a session replay
Play back a bug's DOM session replay, control speed, skip idle time, and jump straight from a log to its moment.
Every bug captured with BugMojo carries a session replay, a reconstructed DOM recording of the moments before capture. Watching it is the fastest way to see what the reporter saw. Here is how to play it, control the pace, and jump to the exact instant something broke.
Open the replay
From a board or a saved view, click the bug to open its bug detail page.
The Replay player loads at the top of the page. Press Play to watch the session, or Pause to freeze on a frame.
Drag the marker along the timeline to scrub to any point. The page rebuilds instantly at that moment, with no waiting for a video to seek.
Control speed and skip idle time
Use the speed control in the player toolbar. Drop to 0.5x to study a fast interaction frame by frame, or bump to 2x and up to race past setup.
Turn on Skip idle to fast-forward through stretches where nothing happened on the page. It never deletes anything. Switch it off to watch every second in real time.
Jump from a log to its moment
Open the Console or Network panel beside the replay. Each entry is stamped with the time it fired.
Click an entry, for example a red console error or a failed request. The replay timeline jumps to that timestamp so you see the exact page state when it happened.
Press Play from there to watch what the user did next, or scrub back a few seconds to see what led up to it.
Common questions
Can I change how fast the replay plays?
Yes. Use the speed control in the player toolbar to play at 0.5x, 1x, 2x, or faster, so you can slow down a tricky moment or race through setup steps.
Does skipping idle time cut anything out of the recording?
No. Skip idle only fast-forwards through stretches with no activity. Nothing is deleted, and you can turn it off to watch every second in real time.
How do I get from an error log to the exact moment it happened?
Click the log entry in the console or network panel. The replay timeline jumps to that timestamp so you see the page state at the instant the log fired.
